Student Support Services

At Harrisburg Global Academy, Student Support Services help ensure students have access to the guidance and resources they need throughout their school experience. Our support team works closely with students, families, and teachers to encourage academic growth, confidence, and overall student success.

Shadora Abraham

ML Teacher/Coordinator

I am a bilingual Multilingual Learner Specialist with over 10 years of experience who is passionate about fostering student confidence, academic growth, and well-being.

Angela Bohannon

Hello! My name is Angela Bohannon, and I am excited to be part of the Harrisburg Global Academy family. I hold a Master’s Degree in Special Education and have over 16 years of experience working with children, including several years as a special education teacher supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Samantha Davis

Counselor/MTSS Coordinator

With 17 years of experience in teaching, counseling, and educational leadership, I am passionate about building strong partnerships with students and families through support, connection, and empowerment to foster academic, social, and emotional growth to help every child reach their full potential.

Leesa Martins

Gifted Teacher/Coordinator

I am excited to join HGA and look forward to building a community of lifelong learners by meeting every student where they are, inspiring them to learn more than they already know, embracing challenges, and viewing mistakes as an opportunity to learn. This will be my 21st year teaching gifted students. I look forward to reuniting with former students as well as welcoming new faces.

SPED Teacher/Coordinator

I have worked in education for 17 years, serving in schools in New York City, Florida, and South Carolina. Throughout my career, I have held roles ranging from special educator to site coordinator, supporting student learning and growth across a variety of educational settings.
