At Harrisburg Global Academy, our curriculum empowers students to think critically, solve problems, and become global leaders. Through engaging instruction, students build knowledge and skills across language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, STEM, and Spanish.

English Language Arts

Core Knowledge Language Arts (CKLA) helps students become strong readers, writers, and thinkers. The program combines knowledge-rich content with evidence-based instruction to support learning in English language arts.

Mathematics

HGA uses enVision Mathematics to provide concept-based, engaging instruction. This program helps students build mathematical understanding, confidence, and proficiency.

Social Studies

Pearson myView Social Studies helps students explore the world and understand diverse perspectives. Through their learning, students develop the knowledge and awareness to become informed global citizens.

Science

STEMscopes provides hands-on science experiences that encourage curiosity and deepen understanding. Students explore scientific ideas through inquiry and connections to the world around them.

STEM and Engineering

Our curriculum includes STEM and engineering experiences with LEGO Education Robotics, VEX Robotics, and Project Lead The Way (PLTW).

Students design, build, code, and innovate through authentic STEM learning experiences that connect ideas with practical exploration.

Spanish Language Learning

Spanish instruction supports language development and cultural understanding through programs designed for different grade levels.

Elementary Spanish: Caminos

For elementary grades K–5, Caminos introduces young learners to Spanish through engaging, interactive instruction.

Middle Grades Spanish: ¡Avancemos!

For middle grades 6–8, ¡Avancemos! builds communication skills and cultural understanding.
